appSTUDIO is comprised of a dynamic team of young professionals who are united with a passion for technology and a desire to improve the world one app at a time. Our team was founded at the Jerusalem College of Technology where we studied disciplines ranging from software engineering to business management and technology marketing.
Our current focus of development is creating apps for the Apple iPhone, with an emphasis on utility and commercial apps. As the competition of the multitouch smartphones increases on the global mobile scene, we monitor carefully all new developments in order to keep up to date with modern practice and technologies. In addition to appSTUDIO’s primary focus on developing apps for the iTunes appStore, we offer cross-platform solutions to bring your app to a number of technologies including Android, Windows Marketplace, BlackBerry, Maemo, and all new emerging mobile platforms.
Our understanding of customers’ needs goes well beyond conventional wisdom or interviews with our customers. In appSTUDIO we believe that to know a customer one has to become one, only then can we truly understand our customers’ articulate and non-articulate needs. By learning to anticipate our customers’ future requirements and matching them with our capabilities, we position our company ahead of the competition while providing solid value in the work that we do.
Our company is registered with Apple and we have a developer license to develop apps for iTunes appStore.

July 21 Update: As of today iBirkat is #1 free app in the Lifestyle section of the Israeli Appstore. Thanks to everyone who made it happen.
We are excited to announce the second update to our extremely popular free bencher (after meal blessings) for the iPhone and iPod Touch. In this version we added the option to choose from the following Nusachim (traditions): Ari (Chabad), Sefard, Edut HaMizrach, and Ashkenazi. ![]()
We removed the splash screen and shortened loading time in this version. We also changed the way some of the hebrew text appears on the screen.
In this version we also began the implementation of location awareness. We have released location based descriptions of the app, to localize it to the various regions of the iTunes App Store. Now when you download iBirkat (or upgrade) the app will ask you permission to send us location data. No personal data is transferred, on our end we simply get a notice “someone in France downloaded iBirkat”. We hope to use this information to better cater to you, our audience, with location and language specific translations of relevant Jewish texts.
We have a lot of great ideas for more free Jewish apps for the iPhone/Touch and iPad, and are always interested in hearing what ideas you guys can come up with. Please feel free to drop us a line at info@appstudio.co.il
